MTA Şehit Cuma DAG Tabiat Tarihi Müzesi
Second Time Around
I lived in Ankara three years ago and I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t do any sightseeing, not even in Istanbul. This time, I’ve made a promise to myself to see and learn everything I can about the history and culture. I recently went to the Natural History Museum in Ankara. I’ve been looking forward to going since I lived here before. I remembered those dinosaurs being out front!
When I arrived, I was disappointed to find that the upper half of the museum was under construction so I’ll need to be go back. There also aren’t any tours offered in English unless you’re with a university. These very nice people asked me to join their group and a few people spoke English but it was still difficult to follow the tour. I ended up exploring on my own and here’s a photo gallery of what I was able to see this time. Enjoy!
